1. Information We Collect
This app does not collect information that identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or photos. No account or sign-in is required.
To understand learning progress and improve the service, the following information is collected and stored on servers of a cloud service provided by Google LLC:
- An anonymous user ID — a random string issued automatically on first launch. It is not tied to your name, email address, or device identifiers and cannot identify you. It is lost when the app is deleted, and a new ID is issued on reinstall.
- Learning records — stage progress (stars and attempts), mistake counts, questions added to the review list, settings such as answer time, whether the full unlock has been purchased and how often the purchase screen was used (no payment information), the app version, and the last update time.
- Question and feedback reports — only when you send one from the in-app report screen: the question concerned, the report type, what you wrote, the app version, and the time sent. Reports are not linked to the anonymous user ID. Please do not include your name or contact details.
- Error information — when the app terminates unexpectedly or an internal error occurs: where the error occurred, the screen and stage shown, the app and OS versions, the device model, available memory, and similar details. This is not linked to the anonymous user ID.
2. How Information Is Handled
Learning records are stored on your device first, and a copy is sent to the server when a connection is available. Records on the server are keyed by the anonymous user ID and access-controlled so that no one else can view or change them.
Collected information is used only to understand learning progress, to review questions, difficulty and the free range of the app, and to investigate and fix problems. It is never used to identify individuals or for advertising or marketing.
Records on the device are deleted when you delete the app. To have server-side records deleted, contact us as described in “8. Contact Us” (if the anonymous user ID is unknown, we may be unable to locate the records).
3. Network Communication
All questions are bundled in the app, so it can be used without a connection. The app communicates only in the following cases:
- Launch check — the app reads the minimum supported version, a notice message, and a store (App Store / Google Play) URL. This is read-only; no information identifying the device or user is sent.
- Saving learning records — sent when records change. If sending fails, the data is kept on the device and sent again later.
- Sending a report — only when you tap “Send” on the report screen. Reports cannot be viewed from the app; only the developer reviews them, solely to fix questions and improve the app.
- Sending error information — after an unexpected termination, on the next launch; for other errors, when they occur.
In every case the app remains usable without a connection. As with any network request, general connection logs such as IP addresses may be retained by the server. See Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
4. What We Do Not Use
- What you write on the scratch paper is used only to review that round on the results screen; it is neither saved on the device nor sent anywhere.
- No access to the camera, microphone, photos, location, or contacts.
- No analytics or behavior-tracking tools.
- No advertising and no ad-delivery mechanisms.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
- In-app purchase is a single one-time purchase; there are no subscriptions. Payment is handled by the App Store or Google Play, and the app never receives payment information.
5. Sharing with Third Parties
Information is stored by Google LLC as our server provider and is not shared with any other third party, except as required by law.
6. Children's Privacy
This app is designed to be usable by elementary school children. Regardless of age, we collect no information that identifies you. Only the anonymous user ID and the information described above are stored on the server.
7. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its revision date. Material changes to how information is handled will also be announced in the app.
8. Contact Us
For questions about this policy or your privacy, please use “Report a question issue or request” in the app's Settings (choose the “Feature request” type for inquiries other than question issues).
